Pleasure
Yesterday we tried to drive to Punta Diablo, the Southwestern point of the =
Bermuda triangle. The road was small and dusty. We stopped at a small beach=
which was strewn with plastic, styrofoam, and other modern debris. A sign =
said: warning 30,000 watts, buried cable, do not dig. We drove on and passe=
d a recently dead horse on the side of the road, a small black dog consider=
ing how to eat it. We drove on and the road went up a hill exposing a vast =
landfill, trash of every conceivable variety sat between inhabited trailers=
and dogs. We turned back, and tried to rid our imaginations of the rest of=
the trip.=
